HANA MIRUKU

Loosely translated as "Milk Flower". A stunning concoction of Sake & Hana and milk washed to clarify the colour and give the cocktail a silky texture.

The recipe:

7cl Hana Cherry Blossom
1.5cl Sake (Junmai)
2cl Fresh Lime Juice
1.5cl Rich Sugar Sirup
2.5cl Water
​
10cl Whole Milk
​
Garnish: No garnish
Glass: Coupet

Instructions:
​​
Add all ingredients except for the milk to a cup. Quick stir all ingredients without ice. Next add the mixture to the milk and give it a gentle stir. Cover your shaker (or whatever container you're using) and let it rest for 1 hour in the fridge.
​
After letting it sit in the fridge for 1 hour, strain the mixture trough a coffee filter or cheesecloth. Your liquid should be cristal clear. If your liquid is foggy, strain again.
